Gianna and a group of fans were able to see Casey at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C. this June. She has written a wonderful report of her experience.
Beam Me To D.C.: Slanted Fedora Event

Slanted Fedora has been holding special events around the country. inviting fans and celebrities to take part in a special tour of the featured city. Fot the "Beam Me to D.C." event, Casey and others went to the Spy Museum, Navy Memorial and The Folger Library where he gave a master class of sorts about Shakespeare. Dwight Schultz (Lt. Barclay, ST: TNG), J.G. Hertzler (Martok, ST:DS9), Vaughn Armstrong (Adm. Forrest, ST: ENT) and others joined in with some of Shakespeare's famous speeches. Gianna's report is a terrific look into the special event!
Slanted Fedora: Washington D.C. Convention

Separate from the Beam Me To D.C. event was a convention day where Casey and other convention guests answered questions from fans, signed autographs and performed in "Bleacher Bums". Gianna's great report covered this day as well.

Stand Up Shakespeare: New York City
added May 2004

A group of fans got together to see Alfred Molina and Casey in the one-night-only performance of "Stand Up Shakespeare" for The Acting Company's Salon Series. The event was so amazingly successful, the theatre asked Casey to direct the show again for an extended run. That will begin this September, for 8 weeks, with Alfred Molina and F. Murray Abraham alternating performances. A few pics from this particular night can be found here.

October, 2002 Susan Burnette, Cindy Romero and Diane Taylor were fortunate enough to see Casey recieve his award from Pennylane for his Scholarship Fund.
Shakespeare in Hollywood Archive

After a 10 year absence, Casey returned to Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage starring as Oberon in the new Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor) play, "Shakespeare in Hollywood". The show was a great success and Casey's performance received some sterling reviews. Also, a few lucky fans got together to see Casey's stellar performance. Added to the archive is a report from Gianna!!!
Stand Up Shakespeare: Los Angeles

In the winter of 2002 Casey directed "Stand Up Shakespeare" at The Odyssey Theatre. On Dec.20, a special benefit performance was held to raise money for The Casey Biggs Scholarship Fund. In attendance were Nana Visitor, Dylan McDermott and Alfred Molina.
