When Casey sent me the Message for June he let me know that he is scheduled to be a guest in Newfoundland at the Sci-Fi on The Rock IVin 2010 in April. Close enough to our birthdays Bev, we need a birthday trip.

Woo hoo! That's not far, and I've been wanting to go over there! =)
May wait for more concrete plans before I commit (if they aren't already set) but this could be neat! I'll have to keep checking the site. The other guest listed seems familiar...

Did this con go okay or was it hampered by the volcano? Maybe I should check other threads, maybe this was answered...

| I got an e-mail from Casey. He is stuck in Newfoundland because of Volcanic Ash and Fog. He is hoping to be able to come home tomorrow. |

Wow!! I hope he wasn't too badly inconvenienced or missing work! It's amazing how that single natural event is throwing everything for a loop...
